Autonomous Cyber AI, algorithmic auditing and bias mitigation solutions are some of the technologies that will take centre stage at AI Expo Africa 2021 ONLINE as more international sponsors sign-up to exhibit their products and services at the continent’s largest annual gathering of buyers and suppliers of AI, RPA and 4IR smart technologies.

The latest batch of AI Expo Africa 2021 ONLINE sponsors include UK-based Darktrace, Nairobi-based KOSA AI, and South Africa’s 1ai in partnership with RPA specialists Automation Anywhere.

Event organiser AI Media Group expects over 5 000 delegates will attend the virtual trade event which takes place 7th to 9th September. Dr Nick Bradshaw, AI Media Group CEO and AI Expo Africa founder commented, “Both delegate sign ups and exhibiter demand has seen early uptake this year. We already have in excess of 4500+ delegate registrations and we are pleased to announce the first of our virtual international trade missions with the signing of  The Embassy of Switzerland in South Africa who return for the 2021 edition hosting their stunning Country ePavilion showcasing cutting edge 4IR tech companies from Switzerland.”

Head of Show Production Daniel Mpala pointed out that there is a breadth of technologies and solutions being exhibited at this year’s show. “For example, we have KOSA AI, a Kenya-based startup that’ll showcase the world’s first automated algorithmic auditing and AI bias mitigation solution. Given that AI bias is such a topical issue in the AI community, it’s encouraging to have such companies exhibit at the show. Companies that are interested in these and other 4IR solutions should take advantage of the dedicated showcase day on the 7th of  September to explore these products and service,” he added.

Andrew Tsonchev, Director of Technology at Darktrace UK who are joining as Platinum exhibitors stated: “Against the backdrop of a global shift in the way that companies operate, demand for Autonomous Cyber AI solutions has soared. As world leaders in Autonomous Cyber AI, we look forward to showcasing the Darktrace Immune System at AI Expo Africa 2021. Our AI innovations protect the workforce and data of over 4,700 organisations globally from sophisticated attackers, by detecting, investigating and responding to cyber-threats in real time — wherever they strike.”
