AI Expo Africa 2024 will again be held at the prestigious Sandton Convention Centre (SCC). The Sandton Convention Centre is South Africa’s leading event venue, offering multi-use event spaces and venues centrally located in the business and financial hub of Johannesburg.
Conveniently located in the vibrant commercial district of Sandton and within easy reach of the Gautrain and O. R. Tambo International Airport, the Sandton Convention Centre (SCC) is flanked by a number of leading hotels, sophisticated shopping centres and entertainment complexes. The Sandton Convention Centre is the foremost venue for hosting exhibitions, events and conferences in South Africa.
With 22,000m² of flexible event space, with Afro-chic décor and technologically advanced facilities, the SCC is our venue partner for the 7th edition of AI Expo Africa. The Sandton Convention Centre is also fully compliant with all government regulations to ensure the health, safety and wellbeing of conference guests, exhibitors and staff. The SCC is surrounded by top class hotels, either connected or a short walk away. We have negotiated special event rates for the connected Sandton Sun (which allows you to walk from your hotel to the venue via a covered bridge) or the Garden Court Sandton City (which is next door to the venue and a 1 minute walk from the hotel). Both venues are offering discounted pricing. Other hotels are available very close by to SCC offering you multiple options and value.

Transport Options – Getting to the Sandton Convention Centre
- For those flying in – OR Tambo is the main International Airport
- Its 15 minutes by the rapid-rail Gautrain from OR Tambo International Airport to central Sandton.
- 35 minutes by road from the airport via Uber or airport-approved taxi (optional shuttle bus maybe available based on the hotel you book)
- Ample parking in and around Sandton with nearly 11,000 parking bays in the adjacent Sandton City and Nelson Mandela Square malls.
- Plus an additional 300 parking bays directly beneath the Sandton Convention Centre.
